![]() In V isions, ideas are celebrated and the future envisaged, starting with the vision from which every project begins, that ability to imagine what does not yet exist: a creative act, a stroke of genius, maybe something that cannot actually be created, but which prompts reflection and brings awareness. ![]() Projects, meanwhile, takes us to the heart of the matter, and is the most “professional” part of the magazine, with accounts of design projects, the planning and building of new parts of cities, buildings, interiors and objects. Behind every place, city, building and object there is at least one story, there are people, ideas, processes and news stories that needs to be told if the wealth of phenomena and the value of everything that is created is to be understood. The magazine opens with the Booster section which sets the agenda on today’s issues and current events, then continues with four thematic sections covering a wide range of topics: Stories, Projects, Visions, Items. In its new-look print edition, Abitare, a specialised magazine now also available in a digital edition, with a comprehensive website, and in Italian and English as it always has been, has the typical structure of a periodical, with reports, articles, interviews and special features devoted to design and new ideas, but divided up inside into sections that cover a wide spectrum of themes.
